Positive movements of the soul caused by correct judgements about what is good or bad.

These include awe, joy, and specific kinds of love and friendship.

The Stoic goal of apathy does not exclude good emotions, so the sage or virtuous person would still experience these.

The reason good emotions are appropriate is because they move in accordance with nature.

It is fine to be happy about an actually good thing, such as appreciating the beauty of nature or true friendship, because your emotion corresponds with a fact about the world.

Greek: Eupatheia εὐπάθεια.
